Daycare consists of scheduled play group sessions which includes socialization and playtime with other well-mannered dogs and a short one-on-one training session with each dog. This type of playgroup helps your dog build confidence and make new friends.
Daycare occurs under trainer supervision at all times. The trainer’s dogs included in the play group are well-balanced dogs who respect the body language and social cues of the other dogs in the play group and will disengage from a situation instead of escalating.
Appropriate corrections may be made by the play group dogs which will help your dog know what behavior is generally unacceptable when interacting with other dogs.
You can think of the trainer’s play group dogs as additional dog trainers – they’re just speaking a different language!
